Welcome to Pure Artist Music LLC, Denver's premier independent record label, founded in September 2020 by the dynamic father-daughter duo Tafari Shambe’ and Aaliyah Shambe’.

At Pure Artist Music, we celebrate the creative and artistic journey of musicians. Our core belief is to provide a platform for passionate individuals. We have done so by signing five remarkably talented artists to date and haven taken their talents to stages across the United States.

Our commitment extends beyond music. We proudly collaborate with esteemed partners, including Education Through Music CO, the National Renewable Energy Lab, Big Brothers Big Sisters Colorado, AndDnvr (A sustainable clothing boutique), Colorado Future Tek, DNA Picasso, and Women in Music-Denver Chapter. These alliances underscore our dedication to a diverse and impactful music industry ecosystem through efforts of sustainability, equity, diversity, and community.

Meet the Leadership Team:

• Tafari Shambe’ (Co-Founder): Tafari, the visionary co-founder, brings a wealth of knowledge in engineering and sales, guiding Pure Artist Music with expertise in these fields.
• Aaliyah Shambe’ (Marketing Strategist and Head of Artist Development): Aaliyah, with a degree in Music from the University of Denver, co-founded the label with Tafari, driving strategic vision and passion for the arts.
• Akiba Nelson (Director of Business Development): From dancer to Business Development Director, Akiba brings motivation, networking prowess, and a 'get this done' attitude to our companys culture and success.
• Hassani Shambe/Play2Much (Producer/Studio Director): Hassani, the multifaceted producer, serves as our Producer/Studio Director, bringing a wealth of expertise and creativity to Pure Artist Music.

Dark Star Studios:

Our fully functioning recording studio, born out of necessity during the lockdown, serves as a creative haven for emerging talent within the Denver music scene.

Achievements and Impact So Far:

• Hosted a South by Southwest show in 2023 with Paul Wall and Termanology.
• Acceptance into the Recording Academy, Class of 2023.
• Artist Debanaire featured on Hot 97 in NYC.
• Artist SIRDEVON collaborated with DJ Quik in his LA Studio. 

Collaboration with Max Media Radio Team:

Have closely collaborated with FLO 107.1 and Jammin 101.5 stations in Denver on shows and events for our artists to be apart of, extending our reach and connecting with audiences through the airwaves and at special events.
